Monday- On monday we talked and reviewed different rocks and types. We also played our question mini game with our tables.
Tuesday- We observed some rocks and we classified them. The rocks contained crystals. We also observed the buoncy bottle and what happened when Mr. finley shakes it and what happens later.
Wednesday- We started the moth ball experiment. We melted the moth balls and put the liquid in test tubes. One will be put in ice. The other will stay in the open. The last one will be put in a burner.
Thursday- We looked at the crystals the moth ball experiment made. The one in ice with a shorter cooling period had small, see through crystals. The medium was normal sized. The one with the longer, in the burner, period time had large solid crystals.
Friday- On friday, we observed containers of six rocks each and we catergorized them in groups and we did a worksheet on them.
