This week we started a new unit called Dynamics. We started with objects force. Ex... if you hold a basketball up and the earth exerts 10 newtons on it and you exerts 10 newtons on it the ball will be still. But if you exert 5 newtons the earth will push the ball to the ground. The representtation shows a picture of a situation the force diagram with the picture and the third slide is the full force diagram. F is shortened as force. I also learned there could be multiple forces, more than two! like if you throw a ball in the air in wind, the downward force is the earth and the upward was your hand on the ball and the leftward force could be the wind on the ball. We also used spring scales in class that said the amount of force on the object. I also learned that a force is always pushing on you or an object. Dynamics is fun so far.
